Chera Hiking organized a 5 day hiking trip around Tržič. Today was their 4th day and we all woke up into a beautiful morning in a hayrack on mountain pasture Planina Spodnja Dolga Njiva. After the breakfast Nada and me said goodbye to them and they headed towards Stegovnik and Dom pod Storžičem mountain hut, while Nada and me returned back home.

Slovenia: Dolga Njiva, Day 1

Chera Hiking organized a 5 day hiking trip around Tržič. Today was their 3rd day and Nada and me decided to join them on mountain pasture Dolga Njiva, just for a drink. We had a short evening walk, we brought them Belokranjska pogača and we finished the day, asleep on a hay.

Slovenia: Košutica

Chera Hiking organized a 5 day hiking trip around Tržič. Today was their 2nd day and I decided to join them in the morning on Zelenica. Katja, Petra and Primož were the only ones, who decided to do the whole 5 day hike. After the breakfast we started the 2nd stage with the ridge that took us to Koča na Ljubelju mountain hut, where 2 guys joined us. Together we conquered Košutica and descended to mountain pasture Korošica, where we had a great typical lunch. I left the group and descended back to the valley, while they continued to Košuta ridge.

An avalanche killed 4 students and 2 teachers in 1977.

Slovenia: Removal of osteosynthetic material

Today I was accepted to the hospital, where they removed some plates from my wrist, which I received after a mountain bike accident in Austria in September 2018 (14381). The surgery took place 4 days after the accident and I was discharged 9 days after it (14390). Today it was a simple job, I arrived to the hospital, waited for a while, they put me to sleep and when I woke up, everything was done. One sleepover and I could go home.

Croatia: Tuheljske Toplice

On our 2nd day in Hrvatsko Zagorje, Nada and me decided to go to the Tuhelj spa. We left our weekend house, Nada with a car, while I decided to cycle to the destination. After a while we met in the spa, where we relaxed for the rest of the day, before we returned back home.

Croatia: Hrvatsko Zagorje

The family from my father's side usually gathers on Sunday that is nearest to Saint Anne day, that is on 26th of July. This year, only Nada and me decided to go and at first we attended the mass at the church and then we had a family lunch in Đurmanec.

Selling junk for the kids.

Gemišt / Špricar / Spritzer for 5 HRK (0,7 €).

We attended the mass.

Small family reunion. Attendees: Tuši, Nada, Josip, Nevenka, Ivanka and photographer Nada.

Back at the weekend house, we did some work.

Slovenia: MTB - Jezersko

Baki invited me to a mountain bike trip and I couldn't refuse. Our destination was Jezersko. The official start was in Bistrica pri Tržiču and past Jelendol we soon arrived to Brsna Lesa, our highest point. Soon we descended to Spodnje Jezersko, where we were back on the asphalt road, that toom us to Lake Planšarsko jezero, where we decided to have a longer break. After 2 beers we continued with our trip towards Preddvor, where we finished with our long activities. Nada picked us up and soon we were on our way home, well better said towards home. Cheers.
