Sveti Vid is the highest peak on the island of
Pag. It rises to an elevation of 348 meters and offers panoramic views of the island, the surrounding
Adriatic Sea, and the nearby
Velebit mountain range on the mainland. At the summit, there is a small chapel dedicated to Saint Vitus (Sveti Vid), after whom the peak is named. Since we haven't
hiked for a few days now, Nada, Bronco and me decided to conquer it.

I think Bronco already mentioned, he doesn't like sharp rocks. |
|
Rocky ground and low vegetation. |
|
The vegetation on Pag is characterized by hardy, drought-resistant plants that thrive in rocky soil and can withstand strong winds and dry conditions. |
|
Bronco, what do you see? |
|
View to our path. |
Saint Vitus is a Christian saint who is considered a protector against storms and lightning, and he is also the patron saint of dancers and entertainers.
