Austria: Gesäuse National Park, Day 3: Hiking
Our local Mountain rescue service GRS Tržič celebrates 80 years of its existence and therefore they also prepared a summer camp in nearby Gesäuse National Park in Austria. They also invited our Mountaineering section and many of us decided to join them. In the end, there was around 50 people in the camp with different activities on our minds.
3rd day still had wet rocks, so instead of planned climbing some of us went hiking. Our group consisted of Beno, Barbi, Ana, Nada and me and together we hiked to Haindlkarhütte, 1121 m, where we split up. With Beno we conquered Planspitze, 2117 m, over Peternpfad and then we descended back to our campsite over Wasserfallweg.
Our previous days in Gesäuse: Day 1 and Day 2.
