Slovenia: Logging in Zatrep, CyclingNine-pin bowling

In the morning Robi and Aleš joined us and after the sausages we started choping, sawing, tearing down trees and stacking firewood.

Very short break

We (Grega, Andrej, Borut, Aleš, Robi and me) were quicker as expected

Another very short break

Since I had another event scheduled in the afternoon, I left a bit earlier. Downhill was much easier than the way up yesterday.

In the afternoon, our local sport club ŠD Podljubelj organized a competition in Nine-pin bowling. The game was played in 60 throws of two lanes. On each lane 30 throws. On one lane there were fifteen throws on all nine pins (full) and fifteen throws where knocked down pins remain out of play until no pins were left (cleaning).

Welcome to the bowling alley

Initial greeting to the spectators (Tuši, Nada, Tanja and Borut)
Thee ninepin ball has no holes for the fingers. The lanes are 19.5 m long. The cones are placed in a diamond shape on the alley. The standard ball is 16 cm in diameter and weighs approximately 2.85 kg. The U14 (11–14 years) plays with 14 cm/1.9 kg. The pins usually have a weight of approximately 1.730 kg.
