New Zealand: Day 46: Bushwalking & Geocaching in Rimutaka Forest Park Day 1
Fridays are good, especially if you leave work a little early and then go out with friends. This time John and me decided to test our camping gear for South Island and also to do some hiking in nearby Rimutaka Forest Park. After we set our tents we made a plan which tracks we will walk and since we didn't complicate, we were soon on the slope towards Mount Baker.
Upon arrival we set the tents in Catchpool Valley Campsite |
We walked up the Butcher track and quite deep in the bush we found a second geocache, GC2XQWZ
