Slovenia: Vinska vigred (Spring of Wine) in Metlika

In the middle of May, Metlika and the rest of Bela krajina (White Carniola) blossoms with the traditional 35th annual Vinska Vigred, a touristic, cultural and culinary event. Part of the event is also bicycle trip from our capital Ljubljana to the event in Metlika and couple of us decided to join. We all spent another great day and while others returned back with the "party" bus, Nada and me decided to stay till Sunday with her friends in Dolnji Suhor pri Metliki.

We also attended this marathon in years 2015 and 2014.
