Slovenia: GeoCaching, Mountain Biking and Depeche Mode

Nada and me had a day with many events. We started with morning GeoCaching and we explored village Vrba and a Phantom village in Završnica valley.

In the afternoon we joined our local society ŠD Podljubelj and together we conquered Koča na Ljubelju mountain hut, some on foot, others with mountain bikes.

Evening was reserved for Depeche Mode concert in Stožice, Ljubljana and together with Saška, Daša, Nada, Klemen and Vlado we had a great time. Well not great, awesome.

 

Vrba with St. Mark's Church is the home village of our greatest poet France Prešeren.

 

Linden tree in the village and Prešeren's House are now proclaimed as cultural monuments of national importance by the Government of Slovenia (since 2011).

  

Under Smokuški vrh in Završnica valley we found Tito's Partisan village, where the first Battalion, Kokra Detachment wintered (October 1944 -January 1945).

Depeche Mode concert ticket

Their 14th studio album called Spirit was released this year

The first concert they had in Slovenia, was in 2006 and this one was their second one.

16th song was Enjoy The Silence

The concert finished with Personal Jesus

From their new album Spirit they played the song Where's The Revolution
