Slovenia: The Green Gold Fountain for BD

For my BD I took my co-workers to a special place in Žalec, to the first Beer fountain, that opened on 6th September 2016. The fountain, which is located in the town centre, has a semicircular design, symbolic of a hop flower, with many taps that dispense different beers. Drinkers have to buy a special microchipped glass that allows them to pour themselves 100-millilitre portions of six beers.

Beer is one of the oldest beverages humans have produced, dating back to at least the fifth millennium BC and recorded in the written history of ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia. The invention of bread and beer has been argued to be responsible for humanity's ability to develop technology and build civilization.
