Czech Republic: Kayaking on Vltava

Our bicycles needed a break, therefore Nada and me decided to go kayaking on Vltava river. Driver took us to Rožmberk nad Vltavou, gave us a kayak, a barrel and 2 paddles and we ready for a 27 kilometres long adventure.

Previous days of our Czech cycling trip: Day 5Day 4, Day 3Day 2Day 1.

After the beer, we were much much better.

Cinema time. Some people ignored the danger sign and every 15 minutes someone needs to be rescued.

We got some help to carry the boat to the safe place.

Old narrow streets.

Interesting windows.

Český Krumlov was built on a meandering bend in the River Vltava around the originally gothic castle from the 13th century. Despite the passage of time, the town together with chateau complex has retained its exemplary medieval character for more than five centuries.
