Slovenia: Masunek on Korošica
Masunek is a traditional food in Alpine regions of Slovenia, still the majority of Slovenes don't know what that is, therefore I organised a hike to nearby Pasture Korošica, where they still cook it.
It is actually hard to make it at home, since you have to use home made (full fat) sour cream.
To make masunek, you only need few basic ingredients:
- sour cream
- corn flour
- wheat flour
- salt
- egg
