Burcu and me decided to go on a little Bosphorus Cruise. We bought some simit and cheese for our breakfast and we took the ferry from Kadıköy to Eminönü. From there we took a one way ticket for 15TL to Anadolu Kavağı, which is on the Asian side. From the ferry you can see a lot of interesting buildings on the way. Since we were on the left side of the ferry, we took pictures only of the European side.

The ship arrived in Anadolu Kavağı and we walked up to Yoros kalesi (castle).

From the top you have a nice view to the Bosphorus and The Black Sea.

Aviat Networks, connecting Europe and Asia?
After the sightseeing we decided to hitch-hike to the nearby lighthouse, but after 15 minutes we changed our minds and we decided to go back down to the Village, where we ordered some food. Sea food off course. On our way down, we also met a guy, who is making wooden dolls and other things, like ships. He just makes them in a studio (without selling them), where we were.

After lunch swimming
After the swimming we took a bus from Anadolu Kavağı to Beykoz and from there a bus to Anadolu Feneri, where the lighthouse is located. When we arrived, the lighthouse was already closed, so we walked around a little and then the lighthouse manager came out (he went out to buy some food for his dinner after ramadan) and he opened the area just for us. So we entered and we ate some figs from the nearby trees and walnuts that we brought with us.

It was already late so we decided to go back home. First we played one stage of WhereIGo game with our Garmin. The we took the bus back to Beykoz and then dolmuş to Kadıköy, where we were hungry again. We ordered çiğ köfte, ayran, Yuvalama Çorba (soup) and Adana kebab. It was again delicious.
