Boštjan aka Badžo called me yesterday and told me that we are going skiing today. Asking him where is a nonsense, since he usually gives you false or useless information, so we only arranged the time, when he will pick me up and it was on me, to take all the needed and unneeded gear. Good thing is, that I can always leave the excess stuff in the car. 6 a.m. ticked away and 2 cars came to my place. We loaded everything in the car and started driving to Austria. All we knew at the beginning was, that we'll go backcountry skiing somewhere towards Solnograd (Salzburg). On the way we made a few phone calls and the destination was revealed. It was Taferlnock, a 2375 m high peak in Radstadt Tauern (Radstadske Ture). Soon we parked our car just out of the Tauern Road Tunnel and we started preparing our gear. Boštjan soon found out that he was without his ski poles, so he quite calmly for his character started making ones in the nearby bush. As soon as he was ready and we stopped laughing, the tour began. 1200 m of vertical meters passed quite quickly, even though the terrain was quite icy below the peak. The summit of Taferlnock offered quite a good view to the nearby peaks in all directions and our possible future destinations. After a while the peak was almost empty and we realized, that someone has forgotten some clothes on the top, so we decided that we will take them with us. The time for our departure arrived. Easy start on flat top, carefully over the icy part and pornography in the middle section put big smiles on our faces. We ended with skiing 100 m near our cars and while we were approaching them, some guy started asking us if we found some clothes. We said yes and the exchange deal was on, a beer for everyone. After the beer we returned back home, where I rested for a while, before we continued with a night paragliding. We gathered in Preddvor and with the help of headlamps we hiked to Potoška gora, from where 9 of us flew back down, with the help of the almost full moon.
