Austria: Matrix 81

In the morning I joined the group of geocachers from Slovenia. Our plan was to pick up 81 geocaches from the series called Matrix 81, located nearby in Austria. Since every cache has a terrain and difficulty rating between 1 and 5 with a step of 0.5, there are 81 different difficulty / terrain possibilities and the guys in Austria placed 81 Mystery geocaches, each with a different terrain and difficulty rating. Team SLO #2 was our group name and we were more than successful. We found all 81 caches along with some other, that were on our way.

We had many tools with us. A ladder was one of them.

  

For the most difficult ones, we had to use our rope skills.

Crossing the river without getting wet? In the end it was much more than that.

 

How to place a rope over a tree branch?

 

Microwave on a tree. Shy78 went to check if there is any food inside.

We drove to another location and started another round trip hike

 

With a big group every spot was quickly searched
