Austria: Mountain Biking in Koroška / Kärnten

Since Nada has a new bike (Merida, BIG.SEVEN XT-edition), we decided to test it. We drove our bikes to Šmiklavž (Sankt Nikolai) and from there we started our riding adventure. At first we followed the trail called "Wörthersee-Rundwanderweg", that follows the shore of Vrbsko lake (Lake Wörth / Wörthersee), but later on we left it and set our compasses to the direction of Jedvovca, 851 m, in Austria called Pyramidenkogel, where we visited the new tower. We visited the top of the 100 m tall tower (visitors platform is at 83 m) and for our way down, we used a slide, the longest in Europe. After a beer we followed a MTB trail to Plašišče (Plaschischen) and from there we went back to Šmiklavž, where our car was parked.
