Our mountaineering section organised a
Glacier Mountaineering Course and I joined them. 13 of us gathered in
Bistrica pri Tržiču and together we drove over
Austria,
Germany, back to Austria to
Ötztal. We parked our vans in Vent and on our first day we walked to
Breslauer Hütte, 2844 m. We hydrated for a while and then our instructor Miha demonstrated, how to properly move on the glacier, how to use the ropes and how to rescue someone if he falls into the crack.
