Slovenia: Perseids Meteor Shower and Afternoon Cycling

The Perseids are a prolific meteor shower associated with the comet Swift–Tuttle. The Perseids are so called because the point from which they appear to come, called the radiant, lies in the constellation Perseus. The name derives in part from the word Perseides (Περσείδες), a term found in Greek mythology referring to the sons of Perseus.

In Slovenia the best night to observe them was a night of August 12 to morning of August 13 and with Nada we went outside and we saw quite a lot of them, unfortunately we didn't caught any on the camera.

In the afternoon John, Nejc and me wetn cycling. Nejc prepared a very nice route with a great single track descent. Since this was John's last day in Slovenia we finished the day in Lager bar with a couple of beers.
