Slovenia / Italy / Great Britain / Canada: Day 1 - Flying to BC

The time for another vacation has come. This time I joined Rok on his way to Canada. Our first day was easy, we just needed to be on time for one airport transfer and two flights. Airport transfer took us from Ljubljana to Venice Marco Polo Airport, from where we took the flight to Gatwick Airport. We didn't wait long for our last flight, that took us to Vancouver International Airport. From the airport we just took the train to Surrey, where Rok's cousin Nataša picked us up. We quickly jumped into liquor store and continued to Chilliwack in Fraser Valley, our new home for the next week. Nataša served us dinner and after a beer or two it was time to end the long day, that was 9 hours longer as usual, since Vancouver is 9 hours behind Central European Time.

After the flight we visited liquor store and bought some Canadian beer - Molson

The Fraser River is the longest river within British Columbia, rising at Fraser Pass near Blackrock Mountain in the Rocky Mountains and flowing for 1375 kilometres, into the Strait of Georgia at the city of Vancouver. Nataša, Poppy, Rok and me did a quick rainy walk next to the 11th longest river in Canada.
