Slovenia: Morning hike with more than 1000 altitude meters
Even-though our sports and cultural club ŠKD Indijanci finished with morning hikes, we decided to have another one, since that was our presidents wish. The president came to the starting point, although he didn't join the hike, since he was ill. Nevertheless our hike started at 1:00 a.m. from
Mače and our first destination was
Hudičev boršt, 1328 m, that has a funny legend.
The legend says that two farmers quarrelled over who owned the forest. Finally one of them said: May the devil take it! The devil immediately put the forest on his shoulders and rushed towards Zaplata. Daylight caught him midway. The devil dropped the forest in the middle of the hill, where it still lies today.
At the top we changed our plans a little bit and we continued to
Dom na Kališču mountain hut, 1534 m. From there we returned back to our starting point.
