Slovenia: Hike & Fly - Begunjščica

For the third day in a row, conditions were great for flying. Today I hiked over Zelenica and over Central ravine to the summit of Begunjščica, 2060 m. I saved my knees for the descent again and I landed behind our home. In the evening we visited our neighbor Marija and we congratulated her for her birthday. Cheers Marija!

I started hiking in the valley on Ljubelj.

Just straight up.

When you are tired, stop and take a photo. View to Na Možeh, Vrh Ljubeljščice and Spodnji Plot.

And finally the summit with magnificent view the the Western side of the Karawanks and Julian Alps.

Lake Bled and Triglav.

Vrtača, Zelenjak and Palec. Far back are the Austrian peaks.

Flying over Roblekov dom na Begunjščici mountain hut.

Almost like I had a cruise control turned on.

Happy Birthday Marija.

Live music for our neighbor. Cheers!
