Slovenia: With bicycles around Ljubljana with Geocaching

With Nada I spent the day cycling from Ljubljana to Polhov Gradec, Šentjošt nad Horjulom, Horjul, Vrhnika, Borovnica, Podpeč, Iški vintgar and back to Ljubljana. On the way we picked up 3 geocaches on some nice places.

Our first geocache was found in Briše pri Polhovem Gradcu in the valley of Little Creek (Mala Voda).

Second geocache was in Vrhnika close to Ljubljanica river

We made a short stop for ice-cream near Lake Podpeč

We visited the nature reserve situated between the villages of Ig and Podpeč at Ljubljana Marshes, that is dedicated to conserving the unique natural environment of the wetland area known as Iški Morost.

 

Nada was playing with the camera

100 kilometres was better than staying home
