Hudičev Boršt (Devil's Woods) offers a nice story. The legend says that two farmers quarrelled over who owned  the forest. Finally one of them said: May the devil take it! The devil immediately put the forest on his shoulders and rushed towards Zaplata. Daylight caught him midway. The devil dropped the forest in the middle of the hill, where it still lies today.
