Slovenia: Morning hike over Rašica to work

Our sport and cultural society ŠKD Indijanci went on a 16th hike. Although it was a morning hike, we don't count it as a weekly morning hike, because it was more or less a bonus one. We decided to explore more hills in the vicinity of our work, so we started hiking from Povodje to Mali vrh, 483 m, and Veliki vrh, 568 m. Later on we conquered the highest peak, Rašica, 641 m, and later on 2 smaller ones, Privolje, 470 m, and Visoki hrib, 446 m.

Start at 5 a.m.

Slovenia: Weekly Hike: Tošč

Our sport and cultural society ŠKD Indijanci went on a twelfth morning hike (15th overall). Our destination was Tošč, 1021 m. Tošč became the highest peak among peaks above Polhov Gradec just a few decades ago, when Yugoslav army decreased the height of Pasja ravan for 9 m, so they could use it as a rocket base and to build bunkers.

After 15 minutes of walking the information table said one more hour and a half

Almost at our destination, still dark

At the top, where we signed in. A sign on the top says: "Juhu peak and a pleasant tiredness. I realize that the worst tiredness is the idleness."

Atendees: Vlado, Rok, Tuši and Nada

Slovenia: Hike to Triangel

My sister's and my neighbour's kids were attending winter camp on Zelenica and we decided to visit them and give them an escort back to the valley.

Slovenia: Hike to Korošica

My neighbour was home alone, so we decided to go out, take a hike and drink a beer.

Start of the hike

View to Begunjščica, 2060 m

We were lucky, that someone already took this path

But not for long. That somebody continued the wrong way, but we didn't give up.

Piece of cake

When we arrived back to our car, we decided to have a beer in Gostišče Koren, to locals known as karavla (ex small frontier military facility). Already a perfect day became even better after a beer and two great wins achieved by our winter sportsmen Peter Prevc and Tina Maze.
