Slovenia: Weekend trip with motorbike to Soča river valley: Day 3
First expedition of the day was to visit the Kozjak waterfall. Grega, Janez, Tjaša and me drove to
Kobarid, from where we took a short hike to the waterfall.

|
The picturesque Kozjak waterfall (15 m) is caught in a stony amphitheatre not far away from Kobarid. It can be reached by an easy walking path by the riverbed of the emerald Soča River. |

Break for the beer in a nearby restaurant |
|
We continued to Nadiža river, where we rest/swim for a while |
|
Nadiža originates under the massive Stol range. At the foot of mount Matajur it turns south, crosses the border into Italy and concludes it’s 60 kilometer journey when it joins the river Ter (Torre). |
In the afternoon we left the
Soča valley and with two stops, in
Škofja Loka and in
Kranj, we got back home, ready to go to work tomorrow.
