For quite some time, I had been looking at the ridge above campsite Tominčev slap, wondering whether it would be possible to follow it all the way to
Šentanski Vrh. From a distance, it looked traversable, and some maps even showed traces of a path along certain sections. Today, we finally decided to find out. The team consisted of Matej, Grega, Dejan, Bronco and me. We started directly from the campsite Tominčev slap and headed straight up the steep slope to Medvedjek (1000 m). From there, we followed a faint trail to Črni Vrh (1250 m) and then continued through scattered mountain pines until we reached the summit of Šentanski Vrh. I have to admit that the route turned out to be much easier than I had expected. For most of the ascent, we followed a well-trodden but unmarked path, making the navigation surprisingly straightforward. At the summit, Dejan surprised us with a bottle of champagne to celebrate the climb. After taking the obligatory group photo, we continued to the
mountain hut on Dobrča. There we went our separate ways. The hikers from
Brezje descended toward their village, while those of us from
Podljubelj returned to the Šentanska Valley via Tominčev slap Waterfall, completing a beautiful and rewarding day in the mountains -

After a steep first part we started following the path.
