The Rinke peaks of the
Kamnik–Savinja Alps are a true alpine playground, offering adventure and breathtaking views in every direction. On this day, we tackled all four:
Koroška Rinka, 2433 m,
Kranjska Rinka, 2453 m,
Štajerska Rinka, 2374 m and
Mala Rinka, 2289 m. Our hike started from
Logarska Dolina valley, with a break at
Dom na Okrešlju mountain hut. We made another stop before the climbing section to Koroška Rinka, where we geared up with our protection equipment. The summit was soon conquered, and from there we made short detours to the other Rinka peaks.
Soon after, we began descending from the last peak. I left the group and returned to the valley via Žmavčarji, while the rest of the
Chera Hiking group continued towards
Koča na Kamniškem Sedlu mountain hut, where they decided to spend the night. When I reached the valley, I hitchhiked to
Kamnik, where Nada picked me up, concluding the day -
Garmin Connect.
At the start of our hike, we checked the directions and soon arrived at Rinka Falls, tumbling 105 m below. |
