Austria: Backcountry skiing - Hoher Zinken

For the New Year, Nada, Bronco and me drove to Lachtal, a winter ski resort in Styria. My goal there was to do some backcountry skiing, while Nada and Bronco explored the area around the village. Since there wasn't plenty of snow, I had to cross some areas over the grass, but the 2222 meters high mountain was soon conquered. I descended back to the village over the ski slopes and soon we were united again.

Morning walk with Bronco in Pöllau am Greim.

Bronco enjoying the sunrise.

Tied to a tree stump and not happy at all.

Nada, Bronco and Tuši in Lachtal.

Over the grass to the summit.

Meanwhile in the valley.

Selfie on top of Hoher Zinken, 2222 m.

Still many places to visit - Garmin Connect.

On the way back we admired the view to Oberwölz Stadt and Wölzerbach valley.

Preparing a snack back at our apartment.

And a sunset.

Veggie dinner - sarma by Nada.

Terrence Hill and Bud Spencer movie night.
