Slovenia: Planina Prevala

Nada and me decided to have a loop hike, starting from our home, ascending to mountain pasture Planina Prevala, 1311 m. After a short break we continued through the Born tunnels to Ljubelj and via Karavla 297 we returned back home.

The trail is named after Baron Karl Born (1876-1957), a politician and entrepreneur and owner of large amounts of forest in the Jelendol area of Tržič.

On the last part of the trail towards Ljubelj.

View towards Košutica, Hajnževo sedlo and Veliki vrh.

On the old Roman road, that was connecting Emona and Virunum.

Local church, dedicated to Saint Anne gave the name to our valley.
