Austria: Mountain Biking Around Poreče

Nada decided to have an easy day, so I dropped her of near the Ressnig pond, while I decided to find some caches with my mountain bike Black Mamba. I drove in Poreče (Pörtschach am Wörthersee), where I parked the car, and started exploring the area with the bike. I had a successful hunt with nice riding and after 4 hours I joined Nada near the pond. Refreshing jump into the water was great for the end of the day.

Vrbsko jezero / Wörthersee / Lake Wörth is Carinthia's largest lake. It is elongated, about 16.5 km long and 1.5 km wide, and stretches from the outskirts of the Carinthian capital Celovec / Klagenfurt in the east to the bay of Vrba / Velden in the west.
