Slovenia: Hike to Palec

Despite cloudy weather, Nada and me decided to conquer a nearby mountain, 2026 m high Palec, that lies on the border between Austria and Slovenia.

First part of the hike was an ascent to Dom na Zelenici mountain hut, 1536 m.

 

We continued on unmarked way towards Žleb (Suho ruševje), 1916 m, a saddle in the middle of the right photo.

For descend we chose the upper left way

Since we we still early for the return, we prolonged our trip to Vrh Ljubeljščice, 1704 m, Povna peč, 1503 m (on the photo) and to Koča na Ljubelju mountain hut, 1370 m.
