Slovenia: Weekly Hike: Sveti Mihael - Koreno

Our sport and cultural society ŠKD Indijanci went on a sixth morning hike (8th overall). Our destination this time were hills above Horjul, including Sveti Mihael na Samotorici, 665 m, and Koreno, 729 m.

Slovenia: Spooks

For some time I have been watching TV series Spooks and today I was finished with the last part. The series has 10 seasons and it is a thriller drama about the different challenges faced by the British Security Service as they work against the clock to safeguard the nation.

Slovenia: Hike to Kriška gora and Table Tennis Tournament

After a heavy party that we had yesterday, I decided to go hiking. At the start I joined the group of kids from schools in Tržič, but later I decided to go all the way to Kriška gora and my friend Aleš joined me.

Sports Society Podljubelj organised table tennis tournament in the afternoon and 16 men and 5 women joined. This was also the first of at least 11 events that will take place in 2013/2014 and in the end the points from various events will produce the sportsman of Podljubelj.

Slovenia: New Year Party with Aviat

For the third time, our company organized a new year party at Ljubljana Castle. All we had to do was to show up, had something green on ourselves and bring a small present.

Slovenia: Hike: Trzin Peaks and Mi2 Concert

In the morning I drove my friend Rok to Ljubljana Bus Station. He left for Canada and I decided to take a walk, that I missed a week ago due to higher reasons. I started the hike near Gameljne and the path led me over four peaks, Straža, 395 m, Straški vrh, 454 m, Visoki hrib, 446 m and Špruhe, 361 m to my work. During my hike I also found two Geocaches.

In the evening Ana joined me and we attended the Mi2 concert. Another great performance from the guys in the sold out Cvetličarna. I will definitely be back.

Slovenia: Weekly Hike: Sveta Katarina - Rog - Sveti Jakob

Our sport and cultural society ŠKD Indijanci went on a fifth morning hike (7th overall). Our destination this time were Sveta Katarina (Saint Catherine), Rog and Sveti Jakob (Saint Jacob).

Sveti Jakob, 806 m. The church originates from the 17th century. It was severly damaged in the 1895 earthquake. In 1898 it was reconstructed to obtain its present shape.

Slovenia: Men's Night

Men's night was finished and we all slept like the dead. In the morning we prepared a breakfast, cleaned the house and left the place with great memories.

Breakfast done. Instead of bread we used the salad.

It was quite cold outside.
