SloveniaAustria: Motorcycling with Lefteris

Lefteris is my friend from the old couchsurfing days and today he visited Slovenia and since he is also a motorbiker, we decided to have a nice ride around the Julian Alps. We were together already in 2016 (13593) and on 2nd Couchsurfing Invasion Slovenia in 2012 (12160, 12161 and 12162).

The church of St. Primus and Felicianus on the hill of Jamnik has a wonderful view of the mountains.

Monument to the Battle of Dražgoše, that took place in WW2.

The remains of 7014 known and unknown fallen Italian soldiers who fought in the Soča Valley during World War I were moved to the Italian ossuary in Kobarid.

Remembering the events from 2012.

If you look carefully, you can see the stone face of "Heathen Maiden" in the northern wall of Prisank.

Paparazzi Tuši.

Our awesome 286 kilometres.
