Slovenia/Austria/Italy: Cycling in 3 countries

The weather forecast told us, that the rain will hold till 14:00, so Nada and me packed our bicycles into a car and drove to Gozd Martuljek, where we parked and started riding. Plan for today was to do riding in Slovenia, Austria and Italy, which is a nice circle loop. Threatening cloudy weather was with us from the beginning, and just after we crossed the first border, it started to rain a little bit, so we stopped for a while in Peče (Pöckau). After half an hour we were able to continue and the sun started to shine. A very nice cycling path led us over another border to Trbiž, from where we continued towards two lakes, Belopeška jezera in Slovene or in Italian "Laghi di Fusine". The lakes are fed by artesian springs on the north face of the 2,677 m high Mangart peak. It started to rain again so we stopped for a beer and magically it stopped again. So we decided to move on, back to our starting point. This time we were unlucky, it started to rain again and for the last 20 kilometres we rode in very wet conditions.

Will it hold, or it will not, that was the question.
