Slovenia: Mark's Birthday & Schengenfest: Vacation Day 10/17

Nada and me were invited to Mark's birthday in Dolenji Suhor pri Vinici. On our way there we stopped in a couple of nice places.

First we visited Josip Jurčič's birth house in Muljava, where we found a hut, dedicated to one of his main characters, Krjavelj.

Pavillion of Soteska Castle is now referred as the "Devil's tower", the castle itself is now a ruin.

The Partisans attacked and destroyed an Italian military convoy south of the village Kvasica on 22 September 1942. A monument to the attack was unveiled in 1959.

Happy 1st Birthday Mark

After the BD party we went to Schengenfest, yearly music festival by the Kolpa river. We attended concerts of Muff, Morcheeba and HIM.
