Slovenia: Kranjska Reber

Nada and me decided to hike to some new peak and our choice was Kranjska Reber in Kamnik-Savinja Alps. We drove to Črnivec Pass, that connects Upper Carniola and Styria regions. From there we started our hike to our peak, Kranjska Reber, 1417 m. On the way we picked up a few geocaches. The weather was quite cold at the top, so we continued to Kašna planina, 1317 m, where we had a short break. Soon we started returning to the parking lot and for that we used some unmarked trails and pathless terrain.

Start of the hike.

Searching for a geocache.

Next to the one of many springs.

Awesome trees.

Towards the foggy summit.

Approaching the rock with a geocache.

Stuck under the rock.

Top of Kranjska Reber, 1435 m.

Nada and Tuši.

Direction Kašna planina mountain pasture.

Winter on northern part of the peak.

Discovering pathless terrain.

After a while, we were finally back on track.

WW2 monument on Črnivec Pass, 902 m.

Geocaches found:
- Studenček, GC69CJF, where I dropped of trackable item "Trackable Jef", TB904FD
- Viharnik, GC6A1MN
- Kranjska reber, GC6A1R8
