Slovenia: Weekly Hike: Dol - Močnikovo sedlo - Stegovnik - Dol

Our sport and cultural society ŠKD Indijanci went on a thirty-first morning hike (40th overall). We have been waiting for some time to conquer mountain Stegovnik in a nice weather, so we could see the sunrise there. To spice up the moment a bit, we also decided to have breakfast on top. We started the hike in Dol and over the saddle Močnikovo sedlo we reached the top in less than 2 hours. On top, we cooked some tea and ate the bread with pickles, cheese and sausages and off course took some photos of the sunrise. For the descent we choose the route through "the windows" back to Dol.

Half an hour before sunrise we were already at the top of Stegovnik, 1692 m

 

Setting up the camera, cooking the tea, preparing the breakfast and signing in the guest book were our first assignments.
