Croatia, Slovenia: Motorbike ride from Poreč to Ljubljana with movie evening

Vacation time was nearly over and it was time to move back towards home. We choose the roads through some scenic places.

Motovun, a medieval town that grew up on the site of an ancient city called Kastelijer. It is situated on a hill 270 metres above sea level with houses scattered all over the hill.

We crossed the border between the unknown villages Jelovice, Croatia and Podgorje, Slovenia and the officials on both sides looked a bit funny and weird, possible reason C2H5OH.

Since it was too early to return we took a scenic ride through Rakov Škocajan

 

Lake Cerknica, an intermittent lake, was also on our way

250 kilometres on nice side roads from Istria to Ljubljana with a stop in Turjak for lunch

It was time for a movie before the bedtime. Maybe one more, or two...
