Slovenia: With bicycle from Ljubljana to Vinska vigred (Spring of Wine) in Metlika

In the middle of May, Metlika and the rest of Bela krajina (White Carniola) blossoms with the traditional 32st annual Vinska Vigred, a touristic, cultural and culinary event. Part of the event is also bicycle trip from our capital Ljubljana to the event in Metlika and couple of us decided to join.

I decided to stay till Sunday with Nada and her friends in Bereča vas, where we ate enormous amounts of food and drank local wine and herbal brandy.
