For 1st (
16452) and 2nd (
16453) of June I rented a Pony bike from my friend Tom and since it started to rattle in the
crank on my way back, I decided to fix that.
The iconic folding bicycle called Pony, first manufactured by the Rog factory on Trubarjeva Street in
Ljubljana in 1964, became a symbol of accessible urban transport, connecting generations. Many grew up with it, also me. By 1969, the Rog factory produced 57% of all bicycles in
Yugoslavia, with the Pony model – also highly popular abroad – accounting for 43% of total production.
