Croatia: Sljeme

We spent the night in our holiday cottage in Hrvatsko Zagorje and in the morning walk we gathered rose hips from nearby shrubs for tea. After the breakfast, I drove Nada to the nearby spa, while Bronco and me decided to do the hike to the Medvednica and its highest peak Sljeme. We did a nice round trip, and on the way back we also met with my friend Igor, with whom we had a few beers. Cheers!

A little different tea time.

View from our holiday cottage.

Fresh rose hips.

Peace on earth.

Our path to Sljeme.

We passed the restaurant Kraljičin zdenac and reached the tower on top.

Abandoned ski lift.

Church of Majka Božja Sljemenska on the ridge, whose architect was Juraj Denzler.

Vila Samoća.

On one of the million paths on Medvednica.

Well, we wished we returned back with a gondola, but in the end we simply walked - Garmin Connect.
