Slovenia / Croatia: Trbovlje and Hrvatsko Zagorje

In the morning, Bronco and me did another quick hike to prelaz Ljubelj (Garmin Connect), my 40th out of 40 desired this year. Afternoon was quickly here so we all headed to Trbovlje, where Nada visited her grandma in the hospital, while Bronco and me did a hike around the city - Garmin Connect.

The Hunter’s Mansion is considered to be the oldest house in Trbovlje. According to the story, the current house was built on the foundations of a hunting castle built by the Counts of Celje for their hunting guards.

A historically renowned mining town, Trbovlje is located in the valley of a minor left tributary of the Sava River in the Central Sava Valley.

 

In the evening we arrived to our holiday cottage in Hrvatsko Zagorje.
