Bosnia and Herzegovina: Expedition Prenj, Day 3 - Jezerce

After the first night on Jezerce shelter on Prenj, Jana, Igor and me decided to return back to the valley. The weather was foggy and windy, so our plan was to descend to Bijela near Konjic and for the third day in a row, our plan didn't come to realization. Half way down, we couldn't find the secure way into the valley, so we had to adjust our plan. The most safe way was to return back to our shelter on Jezerce and we agreed to do this. For only 4 km and 400 vertical meters we needed almost 7 hours (Garmin Connect) and this time we came into the warm shelter as 2 guys, Mirsad and Senad already started the fire. The forecast for tomorrow was great again, so we had relaxed conversation through the evening, before we all went to sleep.

Previous days of our Prenj expedition: Day 1 - 15975, Day 2 - 15976.

Foggy and windy day.

At first, we had some conditions for skiing.

Bijela was close, but still too far for us.

After a while, we returned back to Jezerce shelter.

Plenty of snow around the shelter.

Mirsad and Senad warmed up our home. Thanks!
