Bosnia and Herzegovina: MTB trip with AO Tržič - Above Sarajevo

Our local Mountaineering Society AO Tržič organizes a mountain biking trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2015 and this year's destination was Zelengora.

It was our last day in Bosnia and Herzegovina on this trip and in the morning we left Zelengora and headed towards the capital. We decided to have fun on a deserted bob sled track, that was used in Winter Olympic Games in 1984 and is located just above the capital Sarajevo. We got to the top of the hill with the cable car and then made a few runs on the track, just like we did 8 years ago, but this time it was more dangerous, since many people were walking on it. We finished the MTB adventure with a descent to Sarajevo, where we had lunch on Baščaršija and then we slowly headed back home.
