Let's repeat it one more time. Wake up early, drive,
hike,
fly and go to work. This time our destination was
Slavnik and we attacked it from a village called
Podgorje. Nice hiking path led us to the top, where we had a nice view to the sea side. After we put the stamp in our hike & fly book, Rok and me prepared our gliders for take off, while Nada picked up some flowers. Wind conditions weren't great this time, a lot od side wind, so our take offs were also very bad. First attempts failed, Rok even parked his glider into the nearby bush. We quickly saved him and the next attempt was successful. We ended the short flight at the parking lot, where we parked our car.

Better luck next time. |
Launched but also immediately landed.

Into the bush. |

Glider was saved and we returned back to the take off site. |
|
Getting ready for 2nd attempt. |
|
Wind in the back and from the side meant only one thing. Run as much as you can. |
Looking good. Still, keep running!

Avoiding the only mini tree on the hill. |
|
Rok followed me. |
|
Great, we were both in the air. |
|
Nada waived goodbye to us. |
|
We landed on the parking lot. Not a lot of space and not a perfect landing for Rok. Strange day - Garmin Connect. |
Strange day requires strange combinations.
