Slovenia: Via ferrata Hvadnik
After the morning ride to work (Garmin Connect) and 8 hours of labour, Nada and me picked up my nephews Tim and Matic and we drove to Gozd Martuljek, from where we started our attack to Via ferrata Hvadnik. Via Ferrata Hvadnik is a climbing route that leads through the wild gorge, offering a unique experience of its geographical position, and an opportunity to safely explore the geological characteristics of the stream of Hvadnik.

First steel rope was also a learning lesson for Tim and Matic. |

Tim and Matic followed Nada over the Hvadnik.
Wall above the creek wasn't making any problems.
Matic was quick and confident. |
Perfect gorge, if you want to escape from the summer heat.
Even though we entered the via ferrata after the storm, we easily managed to advance over wet rocks.
This was the first via ferrata for Tim and Matic.
Via ferrata Hvadnik was installed in 2017.
Because of the slippery rocks, more work had to be done with our arms.
Long step.
Someone didn't make it. |

The narrowest part.
Deep in the gorge.
Tim and Nada were a great team.
