With Nada we woke up in a nice hut next to the
Una river, a few kilometers South of
Novi Grad in
Bosnia and Herzegovina. We decided to visit the city in the morning and to have breakfast in the city centre. Time was on our side, so we took some time to explore the city of
Novi Grad, previously known as Bosanski Novi. After a while we returned back to our hut, where we prepared ourselves for the main evening event, marriage of Jera and Darko. Congratulations!

Time for breakfast. Burek is a typical food and we didn't want to miss it.

The town of Novi Grad was first mentioned in 1280 under the Latin name Castrum Novum which, literally translated, means "new fort'" It belonged to the dukes of Blagaj and in the early sixteenth century came under power of Nikola Zrinski. |
