Slovenia: Backcountry Skiing - Vrh Ljubeljščice

We received a little bit of snow a while ago, so Nada and me decided to go backcountry skiing from Vrh Ljubeljščice and Dom na Zelenici for the first time this season. In the lower section, some rocks were already posing outside of the snow, luckily the upper part had enough of the snow. We conquered the sunny peak and then descended to the hut, where we had a quick beer on snowy bar. After it, we enjoyed our skiing back to Ljubelj.

Lack of snow in the lower parts.

1/3 of the way up.

Just a little bit more to the top of Vrh Ljubeljščice, 1704 m.

View to Begunjščica.

Summit of Vrh Ljubeljščice was conquered.

Triglav, Stol and Vrtača.

White peaks.

Nada's last meters.

Tuši and Nada.

Bar made out of the snow.

Na Možeh mountain ridge.

Spodnji plot

Mini ski lift was operating.

Nada did more photographing than skiing.

Probably the last ride this season in this area.
