Serbia: Sale's 50
Nada's far relative Sale was celebrating 50 years of age and since we were invited, we arrived yesterday (14162) in Belgrade. Before the party we explored the old part of the capital of Serbia with Belgrade Fortress. In the evening we arrived to the party on Casa Bianca raft and an international attendance (Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sweden, Croatia, Slovenia, Germany, Greece, Netherlands, ...) partied till the morning hours.

There is a military museum inside the fortress
The museum was founded by the Decree of Prince Milan Obrenović IV on August 22, 1878 on preposition of Minister of the Army, colonel Sava Grujić.
Belgrade Fortress is located on top of the 125.5-meter high ending ridge of the Šumadija geological bar. The cliff-like ridge overlooks the Great War Island (Veliko ratno ostrvo) and the confluence of the Sava river into the Danube.
