Our sport and cultural society ŠKD Indijanci had plan to go
caving and today we finally did it. Our boss was our co-worker and caver Aleš and he also brought 2 highly trained guys with him, Jaka and Simon. Aleš also holds the Slovenian depth record as he was 1502 meters below Earth surface in a cave called Čehi 2. He already prepared 3 ropes so at approximately 11 a.m. we started descending on a rope for 65 meters into the cave.
Soon we continued on a scree slope down to our next jump, where we had do descend with the help of the ropes again. Soon we were in a big hall, full of mud. We explored it and some of us also decided to crawl to one of the
siphons.
After a while we decided to return back to surface and almost 100 meters of jumaring. Hard work was ahead of us, but all paid off, when we reached the flat land and a cold beer. Like every good adventure even this one ended with a couple of
beers and a great
barbecue.

John, Aleš and me also explored the siphon. A lot of crawling in very narrow hole was needed.

Really narrow |
Finally, natural light
Jumaring with the help of ascenders. It's not easy at all.

When you open a beer in a situation like this you already know it is a perfect day |
