Our plan for the weekend was to cycle around Lake Balaton, cca 200 kilometres. Plan for Friday was just to arrive to a city called Keszthely - Blatenski Kostel. We arrived in the evening and we started with mental preparations for next 2 days.
Dinner time (Vid, Žiga, Nada, Boštjan, Borut, Tanja, Rok, Vlado, Saška and me)
The last day of active weekend (previous day: Friday and Saturday) in Tolmin was reserved for hiking to Tolminski Migovec, 1868 m high mountain. We drove to Tolminske Ravne, where we started our hike. We also had a plan, to climb one easy climbing route, but we missed the track a bit, so we left it for next time. After a while we arrived to mountain pasture Planina na Kalu, where we had a short break. Soon we continued and in an hour we were on our mountain, unfortunately exactly that time, the fog from the valley spoiled the view. After a group photo and a couple of snacks we return back to Tolminske Ravne.
Directions
Nice path through the forest
View to nearby mountains, pasture Planina Sleme and Veliki Stador.
On our way back Nada and me visited 2 more monuments, German ossuary in Tolmin, where 965 German soldiers are buried and Plečnik's monument in Dolenja vas, where 19 hostages were shot.
Rok and me decided to spent the weekend in Tolmin area, where we had a plan to do some paragliding and hiking. On our second day we made 2 flights. First one was made from a take-oof place called Srednji vrh, located on Matajur mountain area. The second one we did from Kobala.
In the evening Saška, Nada and Vlado joined us and we finished the day with another awesome barbecue and everything that goes along.

The cycling in Dolomites didn't end as expected (bad weather - 13638), therefore Nada and me decided to do some in Slovenia and since we were also invited to a motocross race, we decided to make a quick circle somewhere around the track.
After the cycling it was time to watch the race. I must say that I was surprised by the performance of the kids, as they really don't know any fear. Also this year's world champion in MXGP, Tim Gajser, was competing, therefore a lot of visitors came to the race.
We finished the day in our home village, bowling for a lamb, listening to music and having a beer or two.

It was raining all night, tent started to leak so we had to wake up. Cold. I left the tent and went into the car, where I checked the temperature outside. 5 degrees only. We quickly decided, that a plan change is needed, since it will be even colder on the high mountain passes, freezing on descends.
First, we changed cycling into geocaching and second, we decided to return home and not to stay one more day. In Camping Sass Dlacia, they were kind enough, that they didn't charge us for one night stay only (they didn't know that, but thanks anyway) and we were on our way back home.
This church was built by the Alpine soldiers of A.N.A. Group Cortina d' Ampezzo in memory of soldiers of Europe who faced each other here on the frontlines of the Dolomites during WW1. The original chapel, reconstructed here, was part of a village based in these woods behind the Italian frontline consisting of huts, warehouses and accommodation for the infantry and the Alpine troops stationed along the Lagazuoi and Tofane front. Inside the chapel the Italian, Austro-Hungarian and German battalions based in this area are remembered. The church was built in a spirit of peace and remembrance for the suffering of all the soldiers.

After work John, Aleš, Klemen and me went cycling to Krim, 1107 m. We chose an easy track and it really was like that. At the top we had a nice cold beer and soon it was time for a descent. It started bad, since John had a flat. Luckily ma spare 26" tube fitted to his 29" rim and we were able to continue. After a while, when we were speeding down the track we panicky stopped. Bear on the road. Bear was middle sized and luckily for us, he was probably alone. After a quick "meeting" and the fact, that the bear was watching us 5 m from the road, we decided to quickly move past him down the road. We survived.
After cycling we went to the cinema, to a charity event, where companies collected money and since Aviat (our company) was also involved, some of received movie tickets. We watched a film called Bridget Jones's Baby. I expected a fully romantic movie, but it turned out to be a quite good comedy in some parts. After the movie the charity thing continued with free food and drinks and we didn't miss that too.
Ours was a little smaller
After work recreation

This Sunday we decided to have an easy hike to pasture Korošica and further on to a mountain called Košutica/Baba. While a lot of guys, who were interested in this hike, stayed at home, we enjoyed the whole day in the nature.
Kiwi crossed the border 100 times. Can't do that in New Zealand.
Conquered and signed in at the top

We continued to the oldtimer's mountain race that takes place every 2nd Sunday in September. This year, on 20th memorial race, the oldest participant (Hans Leitner) was born in 1937, the oldest bike (Harley-Davidson D-29) was made in 1929 and the fastest time was 2:47:83, set by Jožef Cerar on NSU Max, 1954.
