Slovenia: Hike to Špik, Kire's Birthday party
In the morning, before the bad weather will come as predicted, Nada, Rok and me decided to go to Špik, 2472 m high mountain in Julian Alps. Since Nada slightly injured her foot, she turned around while Rok and me continued to the top. As you can see from the pictures, the visibility was awesome. After a quick photo session we returned to the valley and on the way home we visited our friend Aleš and his new hobby.

Lipnica, 2417 m, a small peak before our destination |
On top of Špik, 2472 m. The mountain's name is a cognate of the English "spike," derived from its pointed shape. |
On the way down through Kačji graben weather improved a bit |
